So...I don't wear heels. I never have. For my 28 years of life, I have never been able to successfully execute a heel.I was invited to attend a gala last night so I knew I had to spice it up a bit. As soon as I committed to going, I searched "best black pump" on Google. It was almost a joke. I knew I had been down this road before and even after trying Clarks and other expensive brands, nothing would get me comfortably spending the night in a heel. Upon clicking "Search" these beauties popped up. Several sites had them available and with great reviews but I was still skeptical. I drove an hour away to try to find some in a store...no luck. Realizing I had to figure something out, I did one more search only to find them on Amazon for $30 less than the prices quoted for ordering in the store AND they would arrive 4 days sooner! I quickly submitted my order after reading a few more reviews as there was only one pair left. Three days later, they arrived. Cute. Simple. And comfy. My initial response wasn't an OMG. I just figured even though they felt fine now...a few hours in...I'd be feeling it. It also didn't help that I was asked to speak on stage in heels in front of 160+ people. Anywho, fast forward to last night. I wore them ALL night. They were comfy, no pain, and I strutted up to present my award without busting my ass! If you're looking for a great pair of heels that are comfy and cater to those non-heel wearers, this is your go-to. I am now looking for the same shoe in more colors!P.S. I normally wear a size 10 in tennis shoes and a 9.5 in dress shoes. I heeded the advice of other reviewers and ordered the 10. It was the right decision. Order a size up.I had to replace my current leather shoe I purchased years ago, I dont even remember where I bought those. I currently own a nude pair of the Galye pump and I absolutely love it. I wore them in Vegas no problem for hours. I work in a corporate office and wear heels on a daily basis, I always look for any heel that is less than 4, because come on...my poor feet! The price is is what veered me off a bit since the nude ones I got were from Macy's and I got them on sale. I would highly recommend this heel, so much that I not only bought these leather ones, but a suede pair also. I will add thought, that I am normally a 7 in shoe size and I first purchased these and had to return them for a half size larger and now they fit like a glove. Definitely recommend! Worth the price!I have the black leather in a 9 and absolutely love them.Also have the navy in an 8.5 (my true size), and ordered the same Gayle style in a 9.5 black python. Love all three Gayle shoes, but have fun with the sizing. Oh, and if you're not sure -order two pairs in the size you think you are and the size you might be. By the time you go back to exchange/return them they'll be sold out (and I tried to do so promptly but no luck).Do yourself a favor and buy the high heel inserts (gel). These shoes aren't worn for comfort, but when it comes to heels I don't complain much (the price of beauty as it's said). The gel inserts make a huge difference which is another reason not to order too small.I cannot say anything but to rave about this product. I am located in Singapore. This is IT!! I cannot say anything better no pains in the toes or in the heels. I have been spending crazily on finding a comfortable work heels. Geox, Rockport. You name it I have tried it. This is the perfect size, perfect fit. Doesn't hurt after 6hrs walking in them! Crazily comfortable. Too bad I worn this daily for almost 6 months and it is wearing out *sobs sobs*Too bad they aren't shipping to where I am anymore. I just spent 6 hours straight standing up in a courtroom today conducting a trial and my feet feel just fine! These are absolutely beautiful shoes. Well made and total showstoppers that will take any outfit up a notch! Opposing counsel even complimented me on them today- which blew my mind as I was pummeling her the entire trial!ETA: i have had these shoes for about a month now and have worn them for approx 20 days. They have held up incredibly well! They are truly well made shoes. I am including follow up pics to show how good they look after a month of wear and tear! I'm such a fan of these shoes!!Looks better than I thought. Thought it was snug at first but it loosened up quickly after a few minutes of wear. That being said, it does squeeze your toes pretty good. I might just need to wear it more or use a shoe stretcher. Really comfortable height, easy to walk in. I hope it holds up! Other reviewers claim the heel separated and the shoe interior rubbed off, so I'm still worried about that happening. However, it's not an expensive shoe so I'll take the risk!I haven't worn it 5 times, but the shoes became like thisThese heels are the most comfortable pumps I own to date. These means I wear them a lot and the tips of the heels wear off quickly resulting in multiple repairs (because I own 4 pairs). Very disappointing when the tip falls off and you have that awkward clacking sound from your pumps.
