Love this shoe. Fits lovely, very stylish. Worth the purchase price of $65.Full disclosure - to me, the most unrealistic thing about Jurassic World was the fact that Bryce Dallas Howard didn't trade in her heels for something more practical when things started to go wrong. I'm all for cute shoes, but if it comes down to my life or my Louboutins, you can bet I'm going to lose the shoes. I'm also a marathon runner, and even sitting all day in heels will have my legs achy and tired by the time I get home. So, needless to say, I don't wear heels much, and when I do, it's under duress (and probably a lot of unspoken peer pressure). All of that said, I'm surprised at how comfortable these shoes are. I'm a true size 8 who occasionally dabbles in 7.5s or 8.5s, but generally speaking, if the 8 doesn't fit me, nothing else will. These were no exception. They fit well right out of the box (and due to a product mixup, which was solved very quickly and professionally by Amazon, they went straight from box to gala with no breaking in period) and were not at all difficult to walk in, unlike, apparently, their higher-heeled counterparts. The toe strap is snug - not too tight to be uncomfortable and just tight enough so my toes didn't slide forward and off the shoe, nor did it stretch to the point of letting things slide after a few hours of wear. The ankle strap kept everything up without cutting into my ankle. The heel portion (the part that covers the heel, not the stiletto) didn't give me blisters, either, which is unfortunately a very frequent problem for me and new dress shoes.I also love the minimalist look. My dress was long and sparkly and had an art-deco pattern going on, so I didn't want crazy shoes, but because it was also slit to the knee, I still had to have something that looked good. After eight hours of both standing and sitting, I was still happy to kick these off at the end of the night, but am happy to report no collateral damage to my feet, no residual pain the next day during my long run, and although these won't become a part of my daily rotation, I feel better knowing I have these in my special-occasion arsenal.I bought the SOFT SILVER and it is PERFECT! I wasn't sure how it fit and I was short on time so I ended up going to Dillard's in Stockton to see if they had it for me to try on. Thankfully, and with a lot of searching, they had gold and black pairs to try. Tried on the 8.5 (smallest size available) and it was just a tad too big so I figured that I would order an 8 through Amazon (which was half the price!) with my gift card. I really wanted it too look like the J. Crew pics for the Marlie Dress in Classic Faille, since the model is wearing silver shoes as well, but I didn't want to pay the high price of J. Crew shoes. I'm so glad I searched here because it looks so classy and sexy! The heel height is PERFECT for us petites who are lacking in the height department (I'm 5'0") and it is pretty comfortable to wear. I'm usually a wedge heels kind of gal because they give a bit more stability, but this is plenty stable. I'm also usually a 9-9.5 in running shoes so I'm glad that I got to try it on in person before purchasing through Amazon. I'm planning on getting a few more colors in the future. I highly recommend these "barely there, sexy minimalist" shoes!Just got these yesterday in the mail. The style is very appropriate for what I was looking for, which was a classic black strappy heel. The heel height was WAY more comfortable than I expected. I believe it said it was about 3 inches, but wearing the shoes, it feels more like 2 1/2, which is great! The patent leather is really cute. My only drawback is that the toe box area, specifically the strap over the toes, hits me somewhat in the wrong spot. It makes the shoe feel narrower than I'd like at that point on my foot and squishes my toes a little too much (and hides my pinkie toes). I think my foot is average width, so if you have narrow feet, you should really enjoy this shoe. Additionally, there is about a finger width of space between my toes and the end of my shoe, even though I ordered my usual size. I'm not sure if this is just the design, or maybe the shoes run big.I do like the design of the ankle strap because it's comfortable (not too tight, not too loose) and the strap doesn't move or slide around, so it's always positioned just where you'll need it.Would not recommend if you have wider feet. The balls of the feet/straps are intended for pretty narrow feet. They look cute, but just don’t fit my feet (size 13)I own three pairs of this particular shoe in nude leather and a reptilian print; the first two were initially purchased from Sam Edelman during a sale. Prior to purchasing the black, I only had worn the nude to an event and wasn't impressed with the comfort. My feet were sliding and I couldn't wait to put on a pair of tennis shoes. After returning to the Sam Edelman store to return the reptilian printed pair that I had not worn, I realized that my feet sliding was all my fault. The moisturizer utilized was the problem. Aside from the aforementioned, I had no issues in the toe area. The band across the front of the foot wasn't tight, nor was there pressure on my larger toe. Now that I know I can't use more of an oil base to moisturize when wearing these shoes, I am much more comfortable. They are true to size and the ankle strap does not 'dig' into the ankle area. It's a staple but looks kind of cheap for the brand. The sandal is taller heeled than expected. I wish it came in a shorter 2 or 2.5 inch heal. I also wish the back wasn't as large to make it look more refined and elegant...this will have to do....still the best nude minimalist sandal I've found so far.Sooo I normally wear a size 12 in heels all my Nine West heels are size 12 but this Sam Edelman size 12 was to big for me shockingly I could put my finger in the back of my heel so now I’m thinking I should have gotten a size 11, I’m 6ft tall and that extra gap just looks tacky when I put this heel on so my advice is order a size down cause they run big afWONDERFULReally like this heel. Comfortable for a heel and looks great. Like any heel after some time feet began to hurt. I felt it more around the toes due to the strap but I have a wider foot. Overall good purchase. These shoes look amazing. I wore them all night and had to trade off with someone because she couldn’t handle her shoes anymore!! She loved them too! They didn’t make my feet feel sore at the end of dancing at a wedding! I have them in a few colours!love this shoe but it was a bit big I usually wear a wide i dress shoes but i could have stayed with the reg width shoe in this made still very happy and keeping themNeeded these for a wedding. They were quite comfortable. My feet only began to get sore after about hour 6, which was to be expected.
