So looking for a Luisa costume this Halloween was super hard and I’m sad that there wasn’t a mainstream version unlike with Mirabel and Bruno. Nonetheless, I’m super impressed with this costume. I was expecting super flimsy, thin fabric for the two pieces and was surprised when I got some thick fabric for both the top and the bottom. It will definitely keep me warm on Halloween! The top is super cute even without the skirt! I’m 5’4 and usually wear XL tops 16-18 pants and I ordered a 3X based on my measurements. It was actually a little bit big and long for me, but I will make it work. Shipping didn’t take too long. I ordered it on September 26th and got it on October 7th. I’m glad I got this early cuz I have a couple Halloween events to go to and it was predicted to come a day before one of my events.The costume shipped state side and came at it's earliest shipping date so I didn't have to worry about it not arriving in time for Halloween. The skirt quality is amazing! Heavier than expected and has a zipper so it fits around the hips and waist easily and has a perfect finished look at the top for tucking the shirt. I'm a U.S. lg-xl and to be safe I went XXL but it wasn't necessary. Because the fabric doesn't have give, I'd go with your largest regular size, but no bigger. Once the skirt is on and zipped I have extra wiggle room at the size up and the top is too big but it looks great tucked anyway (I'm going to stuff the sleeves for an extra muscle look ;) )The material for the Luisa costume is heavyweight and feels solid unlike many of the costumes you can get at your local box stores. I haven't tried it on yet so can't speak to the fit, but I am super excited for Halloween!!!Great product, great material. Got here faster than expected. Thanks so much.
